Not including specialty jerseys like winter classic, reverse retro or even the mustard one etc, of the three main jerseys we have ever worn that had a home and away version, which do you like the best?

I'm sentimental. I like the original. Then Mustard. Then Blue with laces(option 2). The current ones aren't bad thought. We've really never had a bad jersey

I’m with you here 100%
So many didn’t like the mustard but I loved it as well. But it was never a primary jersey with home and away version so I didn’t include here.
I agree never been a bad jersey but I do feel we are currently wearing our least “nice” jersey. It’s not gold, it’s yellow lol. See the golden knights jersey then the bruins. We are yellow lol

Near where sand and waves meet.
Counting the blue alt that lasted two seasons (it was always an alt, not a primary) but not the mustards that lasted five (mustards also worn on road at least once). Missing entire versions of "main jersey" such as the 05-11 home blue, road white Edge sweaters where the silver disappeared and the shoulder logo changed.

If the navy alt is a regular then we may count this one too

This is the alternate (away) to the navy blue number 2 option. (See the checkers in the bottom of both jerseys)
Why is the blue included here if you are not including any other alternates?
Same jerseys as per above. Home and away.
You guys remember those days?

I will don’t get why we ever switched to yellow. Like we were the penguins (barf)

The navy was an alternate not a regular. They even had a special ticket package of the 5-6 games they wore that jersey...the "Black and Blue plan". I know this because it was when I was working for the team.

What people are saying is jersey two in your poll was an alternate. The white jersey 101st posted was a prototype that never actually got worn in a game. We've had five primary home jerseys in our history that can be seen here: Nashville Predators - The (unofficial) NHL Uniform Database.

FWIW the gold was chosen because no other team had a primary gold/yellow jersey so it was a way to distinguish us as a brand rather than being blue like half the other teams in the league.

Ummmm unless I’m off my meds… I am 99.9% sure that white one is the pairing jersey to the navy blue (option 2). Therefore a home and away option for this one. They even have the same checker squares at the bottom. Both were worn in n regular season games as well.

Also for the gold. We are not gold and it does not distinguish us at all IMO. We are yellow and it’s the same colour as the bruins and penguins. Vegas wears some gold but that’s the only one I can think of that does.

I don't know what to tell you but you are just wrong about this. The blue jersey was an alternate and the white was never worn in a game. That's why it's impossible to find a picture of that white jersey in game action since it never happened.

As far as gold/yellow. I only call it gold because that's what the team calls it so sure whatever we can call it yellow too. In any case the Bruins and Penguins don't use a yellow jersey as their primaries and no other team in the NHL has since the 80s. It's certainly far more unique than blue which is what a third of the teams in the NHL wear.

Don't recall the whites ever being worn. The navy was the 3rd jersey in the 09-10 season. Here's the blurb on the Preds website about them

Black & Blue Third Jersey Revealed

The Predators debuted a new third jersey on November 27, 2009, against the St. Louis Blues. The sweaters, which features a vintage-inspired lace-up front, a subtle checkerboard pattern lining the bottom of the jersey, and a bolder-and-more-simplified color scheme, were worn between 2009 and 2011. The uniform also featured a fresh-take on the Pred Head, with the main logo taking on a "flat" look with navy, blue and black colors, and a red saber-toothed tiger eye.

Yes I am looking now and I do not see any of that white one in action. I stand corrected. I still say it’s included in this though because it had a home and away version. Like the mustard one for example never had a white version or same with stadium series for example.

Also for the yellow, I get it but I mean there is probably a reason nobody wears it as a primary. Yellow is not a colour most people like to wear. Like if I wear out a yellow Preds jersey, what can I coordinate with yellow?? Other than a yellow Preds hat hahaha
It’s also the most disliked by our own fans as per this thread.
Now, that being said. If they actually went with a gold ad the primary colour like the knights gold, now that would have potential. But lose the yellow. For real.

Ok I guess but it was an alternate. Just because it has a prototype away to match it doesn't make it on of our "main" jerseys.

Personally, I like the yellow and having a distinct brand versus yet another blue jersey. But I also am a UT fan so am preconditioned to wearing garish colors in support of my sports team so maybe that has something to do with it.

So now option 2 is an alt, not a main jersey and therefore shouldn't be in the poll? Or all the alts should be included? The mustard was its own home and road ... worn @Washington.

The white that I own was never a road jersey. In fact, it was never a gamer at all. The only time the team wore it was at Gnash Vegas in 2011. That summer was the announcement to move to sports gold as the primary home color.

Ok I changed the OP to jerseys made that had a home and away version. Whether we wore it out not it was still made and sold and had the checkers to match up with the navy blue one. So all fixed up, although now I am wondering….
Imagine that mustard one in white?? That would look sharp!

There was no home and away, the away was never put out. The blue was simply a 3rd jersey just like the mustard.
Yes it was never worn as we established above. But it was put out because I own one lol. Anyways I fixed main post to better suit the thread. I stand corrected on the white jersey even been worn.
