Skipped 87 cause Crosby has no competition

This should be really close. I think I take Patty over Lindros.

Kane cuz he statyed healthy and has become the best American player ever. If lindros has gotten another 300 games in his prime being healthy he would have been a top 10 player of all time and easily blown away the other worthy names here

Kane has had the fuller career, but Lindros was the better player and when I saw 88 I immediately thought Lindros first. Likely more nostalgia with it, but that's fine.

Disagree, even in his healthy seasons the best he did was tie for the Art Ross. If he had been healthy he'd likely be higher in all time rankings but I'm not convinced he reaches top 10 status.

At his peak Kane won the scoring title with a 17 point margin, was 2nd in goals (behind Ovy) and easily won the Hart (Pearson as well).

He followed that up with 2nd & 3rd place point finishes plus 10th & 5th goal finishes.

Without a doubt Lindros was the much better player. Kane has had a longer career and a cup. It really depends on how you view the question. For me it's Lindros easily and the only reason Kane would be close is due to team accomplishments and injury.

Yeah.... just crazy. "just tied for art ross" with absolute legends in the league, also while being the most complete and dominant player in the game. There's more to hockey than points.

He tied with Jagr.

Kane beat prime Crosby in the scoring race by 21 points.

Not saying Crosby is a better all time player, but he (along with Ovy) are in that upper tier of all time greats.

While Kane has had the better career when I see the number 88 I think of Lindros.

Kane has definitely passed Lindros. The hype for what Lindros could've been is out of control, he tied for the Art Ross once. Kanes hart season was more dominant offensively than anything Lindros ever did. Hes also got a better track record/clutch play factor in the playoff as well

That same Sidney Crosby lost a scoring title to Jamie Benn a year earlier. Crosby may have been in his prime as a player around that point but his regular season point totals were far from his best. He started that season playing horribly and didn’t turn it around until his coach was fired.
