I'm confident he'll put it all together and get back to scoring 40+ plus again. He's too talented and that shot is way too lethal not to.he would if he would score more... hes not even a 35 goal scorer anymore
I know, just thought that the best one-timer should be mentioned in a thread called ”the best one-timer”Isn’t a poll option...
Stamkos has arguably the nicest 1-timer in the league over the past decade. The only competition is Ovi who scores more 1-timer goals but his shooting percentage would indicate he’s taking that shot over twice as much.
Stamkos doesn't strike me as a netfront guy, really.Ovie shoots from a lot farther away than Stamkos on average.

These 2 guys....Brett and Bobby Hull.....#66 not bad either.I'm going to name someone other than the usual suspects here. Some will recall them play live, some will not. But Jari Kurri and Mike Bossy.
I like the Ovechkin choice. It's Ovechkin but the poll is between these 3 sooooo...
It's hard to go against Hull here but if Stamkos didn't get injured he'd still be piling up goals from the same circle and his shot is/was insane. People will poo poo Kovalchuk here as his wrister seems to be the patented shot but on the the Thrashers his one T was the best in the league and he can still hammer it home now.
Splitting hairs but I don't think you can pick against Hull but I'd take all 3 to shoot the puck from a one timer and day of the week.
2014 is when you see the heat maps start to favour the left circle. Prior to that he was as dynamic as there's ever been at putting it in the net.I like the Ovechkin choice.
Early on, he used to score off the rush a lot, either being creative or shooting through a defender. He would score many one timers too, but I believe he picked it up after his goal scoring went down after the early 2010s.
Since then, he perfected his technique. Everyone knows that his shot will be coming on the PP and where's it's gonna come from, but he gets it done a lot of the time.
Agreed. Brett was absolutely phenomenal shooting the puck. These 2 guys....Brett and Bobby Hull.....#66 not bad either.
