I am starting to believe. The Jets of the past few season are in full on doldrums by this time of the year and the stretch of games against Eastern Conference teams go badly around this time.

Great game against a very good team.

Maybe with there being no ASB, there will be no post ASB curse? :sarcasm:

Just need Colorado to cross over on the Pacific division side of the playoff tree.
I hate to put both feet in the Jetwagon but I may have too if they beat the Isle. I wish round one was next week but I do not want this ride to end.

Went to the game tonight and the boys played really well.

Coms with the SO and he looked really good out there. Loved his post game interview. Has to be one of the most likeable guys in the league

Kupari with a real strong game

Iaffalo with a great play for Ninos goal, Great D all night too and a huge shot block near the end

2nd line was zipping around and played well

Appleton was meh, Gus was good, Pionk/Samberg solid

PK, PP, and video coach MVP type night

Interesting comment Nino had post game re: 2PP getting results lately, he said something to the effect o taking pride in the minutes they get to either score or create momentum. I actually think the latter is significant and probably the biggest factor in the PP success this season. The mentality has gone from the the focus to score on the PP to accepting that if the PP does not score the intention is still to create momentum from the actual PP. To use it has springboard. Otherwise if you dont have that mentality you would view a PP that does not score as a failure, which could have a cascade or ill effect on the game. Nifty piece of psuchology there because it alleviates pressure from either PP to score, lifting that expectation

This is good and the Jets are 4 reel, but the Stairs aint goin away and they got some good ole US jam. Jets will need to pretty much win out between now and the playoffs to hold off the Stairs... They are gunning for #1 with games in hand.

Happy for Comrie
He’s such an upbeat guy quick thinker and cheerful uncomplaining team player that you can’t help but see him as gifted with a never-quit, hard-working mentality.
He was a dark horse for many of us and it’s so cool to see him raising his skills, raising our standings (and lowering his GAA.

I just heard Sawyer refer to Nino as El Niño.

Okay, which one of you is actually Sawyer?
He also told Dan to stay of social media if he doesn't want to read about what fans say...
I gotta say, I don't hate Sawyer, occasionally he rambles or says something screwy...but that is me daily so...If you're reading this Kevin, Cheers!

Side Note: Koop is looking stronger and stronger, he is really rounding into something.

We probably need about 12 points in our last 27 games to make the playoffs. That puts us at 91 points, which is about a point more than the Canucks are pacing for as the 9th team in the West right now.

Holy shit, Sip's on the Gus Bus!
It is going to be interesting to see what Chevy does . Gus was used in the last 3 minutes to take a faceoff in the Jets zone and put out for the last minute.

I have to also add The Power tool did not look out of place. He and Miller seem to compliment each other.

This has been better than the 15-1 run in my opinion.

Next game...

Sawyer: the jets are playing a real heavy game, heavy like 36 double dee heavy, like bouncing and running heavy. A game that you just want to mash your face into it and just bbbbbbrrrbrbrbbbrbbbbbbbb

Dan: ...

Sawyer: bbrbrbbbrrrbbbbrrbb

Which is quite impressive. However, if we go 6-21 down the stretch I'll probably die.

I finally made it home after waiting almost thirty minutes trying to get out of the Convention Centre parking garage. Congratulations to Eric Comrie for the shutout, it was well deserved as he made some awesome saves. El Nino had another great game, he was busy at both ends of the ice. My only complaint, other than the guy two seats down from me yelling at the top of his lungs all night, was the fact that the Jets need someone who can consistently win faceoffs. I kept looking at the scoreboard and it was ranging around 30-40% faceoff wins for Winnipeg tonight. They need to improve on that, as I certainly think they miss Adam Lowry in that role. Despite that, I give the game five "55's" out of 5...
