Lol i love this picture. The ref looks afraid for his life while the player in front of him is getting hit from behind right in the numbers.

And of all people, it’s Gordie Howe throwing the hit. Like 10,000 other players in NHL history could have been that guy, and it happens to be him.

I loved the Miracle on Ice photos in this thread. I'm Canadian but went to Lake Placid for holidays this summer and stopped by the Olympic museum where it features quite heavily. Great museum, I learned a lot.
