Alexis Lafreniere -- Filip Chytil -- Kaapo Kakko
Will Cuylle -- Jake Leschyshyn -- Goodrow

Option B:

Artemi Panarin -- Mika Zibanejad -- Jimmy Vesey

Alexis Lafreniere -- Filip Chytil -- Kaapo Kakko
Will Cuylle -- Jake Leschyshyn -- Goodrow

Ryan Lindgren -- Adam Fox
K'Andre Miller -- Jacob Trouba
Ben Harpur -- Braden Schneider

Igor Shesterkin

- Very dynamic top 6. Lots of scoring punch.
-Option B is a bit more balanced in the top 6?
-Goodrow better on a 4th grinder line
*Keep the kid line intact they have great chemistry

Vesey or Krav to Troch/Kreider
Goodrow to 4th Vesey/Krav plus Gauth
and 13th F is Lesch/Rydahl/Cuylle?

use the roster building thread 🔒
Line ups are not really roster building and this was a big addition to the team. So discussing the best combinations moving forward should have its own thread!

bruh if we traded for Tarasenko only to still have Vesey at RW1 i think im gonna jump off the roof of MSG

I’d be shocked if these aren’t the lines come playoff time:

Panarin - Zibanejad - Tarasenko
Lafreniere - Chytil - Kakko
Kreider - Trocheck - Vesey/Kravtsov
Motte - Goodrow - Vesey/Gauthier
Motte?

Love it. Especially with vesey on line 4 and krav on 3.

Also if motte isnt here i am fine with gaut-good-vesey

I think they got Mikkola to play him. Over Harpur.

I personally would go with Gauthier over Cuylle.

Vesey has looked awesome with the big guns. I def understand him losing that spot but people who couldnt stomach him there are weird.

Tarasenko's goal/point numbers do not look good this season. I really hope he is not washed. That would be such a letdown.

I think he's gonna replace Vesey on ZIb's line but that line has potential to be really not great.

Tarasenko is still very good and a great add but the star he was several years ago, he most certainly is not. He's pretty bad defensively at this point, with Panarin being worse.

Unless Cuylle (or Othmann) has a stretch up in the NHL putting up some numbers, I'd find a spot for Gaut on the 4th.

His size and speed (and quasi-figuring out how to score) is the type of stuff you need in the playoffs
