Hey, I've been messing around on NHL 17 and decided it would be cool to create an All-Nickname team of sorts. Also I thought it would be fun to talk about some of the best nicknames in the NHL right now. Keep in mind, they don't have to be the best player, just the best nickname. Here's my list so far.

Guadreau- Johnny Hockey
Byfuglien- Big Buff
Lundqvist- The King
McDavid- McJesus
Crosby- Sid the Kid
Malkin- Geno
Shattenkirk- Shattdueces
Thornton- Jumbo Joe
Kessel- Phil the Thrill

The Rangers' Jesper Fast has the moniker "Quickie" that even our coach uses regularly.

Yep, Pavs is Pokey, which I think is a great nickname for him. Or Little Joe but I like Pokey better.
