To date, Chevy has basically only traded draft picks for rentals, but his calculus may be different and he may be willing to trade one of our prospects plus pick(s) for the right player with term right now.

So nothing anyone would want then. Okay.

Mind the part where it says "for a rental". That leaves us with Chibrikov (who I wouldn't deal, personally), Rashevsky, Walton, Barlow, He, Lucius, Milic, etc that could be traded.

Kadri is old news. That is not the kind of contract the Jets want with a long term contract already handed out to Scheifele, and likely an extension given to Lowry in the offseason.

Charlie Coyle could be had for a reasonable price. Signed for next year too! His best days are behind him but he is excellent in the playoffs.

Morgan Geekie is also a natural center and would not cost you that much. Will not drive his own line but he’s scoring like crazy right now and plays well with high end players.
