I think that it doesn't matter. People say that about every draft the year before the draft, but in the end we typically see between 3 and 6 first rounders traded every year, become it's the job of GMs to try and go all the way when they can.How likely would you say teams may consider parting with their first rounders this season given how some are saying it’s a generational draft?
It's also high level bullshit. The 2003 draft is one of the great drafts of all time because of the number of good players selected, but 2023 is being hailed for having a great top ten. A great top ten is of no concern to contenders, and by the way there was nothing exceptional about the top ten in 2003.
