GDT: Bergevin, Molson and Therrien meet the media at 4 PM

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Habs still need time to fix the sinking ship. not just plug the holes but to rebuild from the hull up. Timmons must get the Habs brand new engines MB needs 6 months to fix the contracts + money problems. MT needs 6 months to fix the on-ice effort every night.

you may keep doing what you've done, but you dont "rebuild" when your best D is 23 years old (Subban), one of your best forward 24 (along with DD, Eller, Leblanc and others in the AHL), you have a great 25 years old goalie, guys like Beaulieu, Gallagher, Tinordi starting their pro career, a top 3 pick recently drafted, and so on...

Always wonder the same thing. I would not consider myself 100% bilingual but I understand french and I can translate - surely these guys can.
 
according to bergevin scott gomez is on the team and is reporting to training camp.
 
That's the politically correct answer what was Bergevin supposed to say? "Gomez isn't in our plans and we won't even give him a new chance with the new head coach" ? Not gonna happen
