The pukeI've only seen video of him leaning over the bench. What did I miss?
Coward
I didn't see any of the second statement, so won't comment because that's obviously not true. We need every possible diagnostic marker for concussion because it's the biggest bi*** in the world to diagnose properly. I hope it works in the end.Or course, I’m not saying it’s fact by any means. It’s an exploratory study suggesting a possible new symptom of concussion that could be helpful for screening. The IF of the journal is not surprising given it’s a survey based study.
But to write it off as the guy just trying to make money or whatever other Trumpian BS is going on in this thread is hilarious.
Right....that's a totally unbiased response. And I'm not justifying and didn't justify anything. Giving Shooter kick him off the tour vibes. You mean when blindside hits were literally legal by the NHL rulebook ?
Are you actually trying to justify dirtbag plays made today based on what the rulebook was a quarter century ago ?
If a player plays recklessly enough that they seem to keep having these unfortunate accidents where they concuss their opponents, yes.suspend a player 1 game for an accident?
I did miss that. I had watched the video 10 times and never found a bucket. I finally found itThe bucket.
Spoke with the media today, and it would not have changed any reactions if it had been last night or this morning. He’s gonna talk when the teams are in Florida, honestly I get it.
Leafs media would eviscerate him
Spoke with the media today:
I just didn't see any significant force in what Bennett did. He had the puck and was driving the net. Stolarz was hit with such force earlier in the game that his mask came off-I'd be more inclined to believe that was the cause of his difficulties. It's three playoffs in a row where he has accidentally punched someone causing injury.
Sam Bennett "accidentally" concusses yet another opponentPeople need to calm down and take a deep breathe.
This kind of play happens on a regular basis all around the league. It wasn't a hit, it was push. He barely touched him with his forearm, not his elbow. Maybe it deserved a 2 minutes, but that's it.
Now people are overreacting because it's Bennett and Storlaz got injuried.
Now the question is: Why does Storlaz appear to have been injured so seriously from such light contact? I don't have the answer. Maybe it has something to do with the puck he got in the face in the first period? I don't know.
Why would anyone get suspended for an innocent little elbow to the back of the head? They can take a couple shots at his mask first and use a clip of him shaking his head to prove the elbow had nothing to do with it.

I could be wrong. I don't like Bennett. I saw what he did to Knies last year and that was flat out dirty and I know that he's a dirty player who doesn't give a shit if he hurts someone. But I'll stick with my reversal.

Stolarz was on the very edge of the crease, Bennett tries to jam the puck in, strides forward. That's not reckless. Take it on a case-by-case basis. If a player plays recklessly enough that they seem to keep having these unfortunate accidents where they concuss their opponents, yes.
99% of illegal plays are not intentional. Despite what most fans think, these guys generally don’t go around trying to injure each other. They are, however, responsible for their actions. If reckless play leads to an injury, they own that. Bennett chose to drive into the crease and caught the goalie in the head. No one forced him to do that.
he was never facing a suspension.Had to get his story straight to ensure there was no suspension. I get it
There was no punchI don't think the intent was to injure, but I 100% believe the intent was to hit him.
Not sure getting punched behind the ear is fun, even if it isn't very hard.
Bennett has a history of this sort of behavior, he shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt.
I love all the progress we're making in this thread. Let's keep it up. Out of curiosity, has anyone here been rabbit punched?
I mean Greg Campbell is his AGM, so of course he wasn'the was never facing a suspension.
