LOL.
He's been quiet ever since he acted like a f***ing moron in the previous game.

Stuart Skinner’s last 10 starts: 33 goals against on 256 shots. That’s a WHOPPING .871 SV%.
f***ing incredible!

He should be in the minors with that record.

BuT hE gOt ThEm To GaMe SeVeN!!!!!

1st goal is on Skinner, no rebound control at all. 2nd goal is a 50/50. 3rd goal, bad giveaway by Pod, slowest hustle by Bouch and then the sprawl out and pray by Skinner instead of moving himself laterally is something else.

Just slap Nuge to the 3rd line with Henrique and Brown/Janmark, I think they'd be a good checking line.

There was constant long delays between whistles. Constant long commercial breaks too. We were practically double shifting the whole McDrai line in this game as there was so many extended breaks in play. Time out also gives Sabres time rest the only skaters they have that can even defend...
McDavid played 26 minutes which is a ton for a forward. He clearly needed and wanted the timeout.

How do they take ten steps back the game after Dallas?

Bouchard just isn't learning. There are a lot of people talking about how elite is passing stats are, but the concern isn't when he has the puck. Mcleod walked around the rink at the end because he knew he could.

The Skinner scorpion tonight was a classic though. Small wins.

And for Schwartz... If your guy is literally so clearly not sound fundamentally... What the f*** are you actually doing?

Schwartz has to be literally a total charlatan. How can you work with someone for years as a Goaltending guru and not draw attention to the fact that his fundamentals are that dog shit? How do you let that stay a thing for years? How do you not recognize that that reflects on you? Either you're not teaching him shit or you're utterly incompetent.

Idk, Skinner will never be Hasek doing backflips to stop pucks, but like come on. You're a professional.

For additional proof of Dustin Schwartz's ever growing brilliance, look no further than his protege Tristan Jarry going from a consideration for Team Canada before the season started to being sent down to the AHL...by the f***ing Penguins.

And he was widely considered to be more talented than Skinner.

It's not hyperbole to say that the first two were pretty much all on Stu.

WHY DOES NO MEDIA EVER ASK FOR SCHWARTZ TO BE DEFENDED?

This is the start of fking trouble.

This team has had 0 morale for months and I think it comes down to the elephant in the room. Goaltending. And it's only going to get worse seeing ad it wasn't addressed at the deadline. And now mcdavid is showing frustration. Let the rumors begin

Wouldn't blame him IF he chooses to leave.
Year 10 of McDavid, and not one single management has gotten a team under him to win the cup and at the very least win a division.

Sink or swim with Stuart Skinner
Sorry Connor. You and Leon both gonna have to go nuclear offensively again this playoffs to even remotely have a chance at winning the cup because I see no problems with the goaltending - management.

Well just wait to see how upset he is after a Round 1/2 exit

Skinner has been better than every forward not named Draisaitl and Perry when he’s played in his last 10 games.

Knobby probably sits him again next game so Connor Brown can miss more empty nets and Kapanen with Janmark can do more nothing.

As much as people complain about Skinner and Bouchard … and rightfully so … the fact that Knoblauch can’t get any offense from this forward group … is pathetic

Especially when you have ungrateful morons literally blaming him for us failing to win the Cup after one of the best postseason performances in history...all to defend Skinner.

It exists. These people exist. I saw it and read it all with my own two eyes.

And he's their backup.

I said it before: what team would take either of our guys as their backup?

Remember who signed Koskinen when his contract ended?
I don’t know if you saw my post in the GDT, but I wouldn’t even shop him in the summer, I’d buy him out. According to that cap wages site, the Oilers would save $2 million on the cap next year ($600K against it) and a million the next year ($1 million against it). It actually makes pretty good sense to do it and put that money towards a real starting goalie.

Meanwhile in Calgary, Wolf is making a case for being a Calder nominee.

Last effing pick of that entire draft. Why do we never hit on any of our late picks?

A 1 on 2 leaving the Sabres best player to skate freely to the net for said bad rebound is a joke of NHL level defending.

Going to Game 7 is almost a burden for us.

Would Knob still be here after this last pathetic stretch if we were out in 4 or 5?

Would Skinner?

we all he hasn't been good enough but sorry, I get sick of the "hurr durr Skinner sux!1!1" for 8 straight pages

yes, he needs to be a heck of a lot better...we all know it, but there's nothing we can do now but hope he figures it out
He won't, the franchise has accepted losing. This is what happens when you hire a potato for a GM.
