McDavid yelling at Knob could very well be the first nail in Knobs coffin. This is McDavids junior coach. You just dont see this type of stuff unless 97 is getting fed up with this organization as a whole. Not calling a timeout and not moving his top 6 around to see if Draisaitl has an actual hockey player to play with is just delinquent coaching.

I guess its a question about how much you want to win, Quenneville would not just stand there like a mannequin. If it’s purely what you want as a coach he is it, you just have to accept the reason he is not coaching (like Bowman).
Also Detroit has 50 shots on goal but Ullmark has only given up one goal.

Avs are in a wildcard spot because no player can do it alone, even as talented as Mac, Makar and Toews. Their GM saw they lacked depth and got a 2C, 3C , and 4C this deadline, as well as trading Rantanen for Necas, which is working out beautifully for them. I read a stat today that the Avs have used 42 skaters and 6 goalies this year. If you’re not performing, see ya. Half our roster would be on the waiver wire if the Avs brass ran our team. They want to win. We want to give retirement contracts to “good guys”.
That line would be good for 52 goals right now, man that be nice to have. We loved to s**t on Foegs because he was streaky but everyone seemingly forgot 20 goal scorers are almost all streaky. Holloway showing us we messed up big time and he is the player we thought he might be. Mcleod while frustrating at least could move a bit.
