So, we lost to the worst team in hockey, wasted our time at the deadline looking for anything but a f***ing goalie, and our only options in net are two guys who will probably be out of the league next season...or our two minor league goalies who even suck in the AHL.

Oh, and Ekholm might never get back to the form he was at when he saved our defense the first time.

And Knoblauch still thinks he's the smartest guy in the room...

2 goals against started with Arvidsson and Podkolzin being completely incompetent in the offensive zone.

Put RNH on a milk carton - believe they said on the broadcast one goal in his last 14 games. Guy has done NOTHING this year. He should be off PP1

This team really seems to think that they can just flip the switch come playoffs and it will all be fine.

Skinner sucks and nobody can score on Leon's line.

Knoblauch is either too stupid or too stubborn to make changes to that line. I honestly don't understand why he keeps going back to this shit.

His skills are tantalizing but the defensive game has regressed to such a high level that he's become unwatchable, these low effort plays and ten bell mistakes have been happening at least 2-3 times a games seemingly every game. All that progression he made late last season has all but evaporated. He's still pretty young but I just don't know about him anymore, it's hard to watch.
This is where the advanced stats fail, they don't account for how egregious mistakes and are and at critical moments.

The big problem is he's somehow STILL our #1. Also Oilers didn't need to make a big splash goalie signing they didn't even try no attempt, said they weren't looking. What would be wrong with even getting another goalie in the org. You know for breaking glass situations like this.

We'll never know but I get the feeling they made no serious attempt to bring one in. It didn't mean you had to trade Skinner but how could a new goaltender hurt the situation?

Why would anything close to that number be okay? With all the mistakes he makes, the lazy plays that cost the team goals against he’s no where near that pay grade. He shouldn’t be looking at any more than 4 on a short term deal.

I honestly at this point don't even understand. How can you be that large and that immobile?

How do you play goal your entire life and not have the ability to push off laterally? That's literally what they teach you day 1.

Skinner was trash, but cmon. This team has no players that can swing a momentum and keep the energy up. They are a perimeter driven soft as fxxx team that have over the hill slow small wingers in thier top 6. I keep saying, guys like Foegle and Holloway are sooooo much better than what we have as wingers now. They can seperate with speed, shoot a puck and able to skate through traffic. Its soooooo fn obvious thats missing. If McDavid or Draisait arent making all world plays, its an absolute useless rush team.
