I paused on that one too. Your starting goalie for your Edmonton Oilers does a FACEPLANT for real.. Sabres bench all laughing at this tool. Same guy that had trouble getting up off the ice after f***ing around with the puck in 2nd period not finding it. Looked like a Grandma getting up. What an athlete this guy.

I saw that, came out of the net to get the puck and almost fell over.

Skinner sucks but I don't think he is actually much worse than he's ever been

the big problem is everything else and everyone else sucks right now too !
The big problem is he's somehow STILL our #1. Also Oilers didn't need to make a big splash goalie signing they didn't even try no attempt, said they weren't looking. What would be wrong with even getting another goalie in the org. You know for breaking glass situations like this.

I wouldn’t go that high.

I am trying to determine if there is an RD that we could trade him for that could cover some of his offense but be better defensively.
Please go see Mike Kelly’s tweet. Good luck finding anyone remotely close to what Bouchard over the next 10 years

Agreed. Any random would give the team a bit of a boost. It's like last playoffs, Pickard played well, but it was more that he was just not Skinner that I think let them come back in that series

His skills are tantalizing but the defensive game has regressed to such a high level that he's become unwatchable, these low effort plays and ten bell mistakes have been happening at least 2-3 times a game seemingly every game. All that progression he made late last season has all but evaporated. He's still pretty young but I just don't know about him anymore, it's hard to watch.
This is where the advanced stats fail, they don't account for how egregious mistakes are and the critical moments when they occur.

Another sequence where he didn't know where puck was (how many times does this happen to him?) and he kicks puck out with his skate, Oilers D has to avert disaster adn shelter puck. Whistle finally blows and Skinner tries to get up and he can't. Then official asking him where the banana peels were. This guy can barely get up off the ice in some situations.

Love to see all the people who flipped to defend Stan and Stu at the deadline flip right back to the side of reason. LOL. Get lost.

So, we lost to the worst team in hockey, wasted our time at the deadline looking for anything but a f***ing goalie, and our only options in net are two guys who will probably be out of the league next season...or our two (official) minor league goalies who even suck in the AHL.

Oh, and Ekholm might never get back to the form he was at when he saved our defense the first time.

And Knoblauch still thinks he's the smartest guy in the room...

Can I put money on Jeff Skinner getting scratched for this?
