Marcotte is well seasoned in calling fisticuffs as I believe he also does PxP for boxing, if I’m not mistaken.

Class move by the Rocket — they not only saluted Marcotte’s 1000th broadcast of his career on the main scoreboard but following the end of the match, coach Houle personally remitted the game puck to him. The guy must be on cloud 9.

Very impressive showing vs a team that has had our number the past few years. The boys battled hard as it was a heated affair for sure.

Xhekaj, Mailloux, Dobes, Trudeau, Kidney, Heineman, Mysak, Condotta, Simoneau all had good games. The goals on Dobes weren't great but Beaudin with a terrible defensive play on the one goal.

This was the 1st multi-point game for Mysak this season and he gets 3 points which is more points then he had in his entire rookie year.

Watched that game. Good effort but the refrees were absolutely awful. After the incromprehensible major penalty to Heineman, they totally the control of the game. Mailloux got a 2 min. for nose bleeding. The number of bad calls was incredible.

No man. People need to stop wishing for the better players to get called up. The Habs aren’t making the playoffs. Laval has an excellent chance to make it and it’s a great environment down there.

They can't, he's only under an AHL contract with Laval, he's technically a free agent in the NHL. They can always offer him a proper two way deal though, he certainly deserves it.

To be fair, Logan punched him on the back of the head/neck. But, arguably, that shot to the face he received in return was a butt-end and should've led to more minutes for the Belleville player. One thing for sure, this team appears to have 100% bought into the "culture" aspects that Hughes and Gorton have been emphasizing.
