Weren't you saying you went on the ground in amsterdam last time you were in europe? I thought you said you did.

Also, schiphol airport is my least favorite airport in the world. I haven't been to Africa or the middle east or anything, but this airport is a f***ing disaster. I hate it. Not looking forward to spending the required time there tomorrow as I journey home.

Next year, Italy and Spain I think. Time to head south.

Wife and I will be taking dutch lessons when we return. This is a place we could see ourselves spending a few years, for sure.

Hey Im a Belgian and well, our country has many nice but also many ugly places.

I would avoid the French speaking part entirely as its ugly and poor, except for maybe Durbuy which is a tiny hidden gem.

In the dutch/flemish part there are Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp which are worth it.

Brussels should be avoided. Like totally. Its by far the ugliest West European capital city.

I've heard this many times. My french is shit and I'd be too intimidated to face the place.

The French part has this wonderful place called Charleroi, check it out ;p
