Bednar has to be fired right?

You make it sound like Bednar and his staff laced up their skates, took penalties and blew the lead.

At some point the players have to be held accountable too. I realize that if Av ownership decides to make a change then Bednar is the easiest to change, but the 3rd period failure doesn't solely rest on him and his staff.
You don't ice plugs like Drury and Girard late 3rd period of game 7

No Heiskanen, No Robertson alone should have made the Avs the overwhelming favorite.

But blowing a 2 goal lead and losing in regulation in game 7 with 15 minutes left? How does any coaching staff survive this
Absolutely not, MacK is basically their only forward that can score. Not much depth, that's on the gm.

Rantanen walked past multiple Aves defenders on that wraparound goal. Horrible defense when your up in a game 7. Never seen defense that bad in a game this important

It's always the players' fault (mostly) but they're harder to replace so the coach is the scapegoat whether he deserves it or not.

Honestly it was mind-blowing. He just decided to skate past a bunch of guys and score a goal because he felt like it. No resistance whatsoever.

Firing Bednar, especially quickly, would fit the MO of chaos that Chris MacFarland created.

Special teams decided the series, lets make that clear. If they decide to make coaching changes, so be it.

But CMac tore this roster apart and traded a future HHOFer for more depth. That depth did not show up against a Dallas team missing Heiskanen and Robertson. And that future HHOFer just scorched Colorado's ass.

All of this points back to the top, IMO. Two first round exits in three seasons after winning the Stanley Cup.

That was my response as well. Lindgren got completely turnstiled, like something you’d see from a forward forced to play D. The coach can’t help it if his players just screw up.
