where did I say Misa would be better than Bedard? and where did I say Nazar is better than Bedard? Also, you don't see the top 6 potential with Nazar?

okay flip the Misa-Marner combo with Nazar-Bedard...it doesn't matter, it would be some combo of Misa/Nazar with Bedard/Marner as a building block for the top 6 next year
Based purely on eye test I think Nazar is more of a net positive than Bedard right now

Convince me that Bedard "drives play" in 5x5...how often does he enter the o-zone IN 5x5 and does not matter which opps dmen on the ice they stymie himsuch that he loses the puck or gets shoved to the perimeter and in ensuing action cross ive pass gets intercepted and they head the otherway?
Bedard getsvery few vreak-awaus ( lack of real speed)..
Bedard geys very few 2 on1s compared to other 1Cs or 1Ws in the league AND if he does get a 2 on 1 it is rarely finished by him or the guy he attemots to pass to...Bedard might sustain 2 or 3 consecutive goidcshiftscin his 1 good or cement period..but rarely have we seen 3 consistently good periods of pressure and dager threats to score from him and the line he is supposed to drive..Morevoften they get hemned in their own zone..

Honestly I am getting concerned.
He is si far front McKinnon who controls the puck with speed during the defending team nuts then always seemscto hot his teammates with a pass into the best slot chances.. I justcdo notcsee Bedard controlling that puck long enough for sustained o-zobe pressure ...tired defenders...or defenders pulled out of position.
I will notceve go to Bedard's horrible +/-
The with 18 seconds left to secure a Hawks win,Sorensen trusts Bedard to won the draw.. of course he loses it to Nelson.. and Avs scorexto send it tiedcto OT..
Then Bedard fails on his shoot-out chance.
And during the gamecwe did notcsee the Generational shot eother.
So tell me what is great about hi m?
Sure hevuscyoung..butcsize limits how m..and lack of so red (merely ok but not realky fast) akso limits him...has goid vision and hockey sense offensively.. but notcthe soeed and strength to maximize this otger att robots..
I just see too many flaws and cannot imagine hom elevating to a threat like tge top 19 or 15 cebterscorxwjngers in the NHL...
We are hoping he reaches ceiling greatness.but given his flaws which oersist,I just do not seegreatness developing at all..
He already looks less a threat than lst season.

He likely falls back to earth next year a lot of those secondary assist points were more the product of Suzuki and co doing amazing things with the puck over anything he has done directly
Bedard last night...only 2shog...2 Generational missed shots...3 hits (top offebsive small guys need to not waste time hitting the opps.. rather should focus on shooting and playmaking ) and of course 4 blocked shots (some would say this is defensive improvement.....
..others would say this is an indicator Bedard and his line were hemmed in a lot =the Truth of it!
Finally his 3 giveaways ...again indicator really does not control the puck well when pressured.
No greatness to be seen..Hard to imagine he goes from this meh to greatnesseven as he gets older.

He’s also a year and a half older than Bedard despite being a rookie.
That said, it’s almost inexcusable that the Hawks didn’t draft him with their 4th or 5th pick of the 2022 draft. He’s exactly the type of risk/reward player you can take a flyer on when you have 5 picks in the first two rounds. I was mad the day of, so it’s not just revisionist history.
