Brayden Point was definitely not a burner when he was drafted. A big reason he was drafted where he was. Not sure why were comparing him now to a 19yo Bedard.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, possibly getting him and Kucherov mixed up, I don't know.

Either way, plenty of kids improve their skating, so my point remains (whether or not it involves Point).

Bedard's top speed is only slightly better than Strome's, not to mention the size difference.

Now go check Bedards last year top speed!!
