Yeah what everyone must be looking forward to is for the league to gift another couple of superstars to the Hawks, so that they can win another 3 or 4 Cups, then turn to crap after that and get some more superstars, rinse and repeat.

What if the Montreal Canadiens had purchased the assets of the Indianapolis Racers?

Imagine that dynastic team but adding Eddie Mio in net.

Ha!
With Ron Chipperfield being the key piece!

Is Peter Driscoll nothing to you?
Ahhh
I just responded about Chipperfield but you're on it faster and more accurately! Driscoll it was!

Bedard would be Malkin, and Celebrini would be Sid. But even Malkin and Sid still needed a good team around them. Chicago is truly a terrible team with no helper around Bedard.

If either of the Sharks or Hawks would have been lucky enough to land both of them back-to-back…just how strong of a contender would they become and how quickly? How productive and dominant could the duo potentially become in their time together, and which one of SJ/CHI do you think would have the better supporting cast, including future outlook, to help build around them? Lots of interesting questions/possibilities. Could have been one of the best young 1-2 punches the league has ever seen.
One of the best one two punches?

In my view, Bedard has a lot to prove at the NHL level… he is actually a huge disappointment especially this season and not just because of the lack of talent he has to play with. He is a liability when the other team has the puck, he is a below avg skater, weak on faceoffs, doesn‘t hit and block shots, and his shot accuracy and volume also leave a lot to be desired for a guy that has been touted as the best prospect since McDavid. This is not trolling, advanced stats, nhl edge etc all prove this.

The sample on Celebrini is still small but so far he exceeded my expectations and is to me the most impressive player to enter the league since McDavid.

To me, Celebrinis play just translates way better to the NHL then the one of Bedard.
