If either of the Sharks or Hawks would have been lucky enough to land both of them back-to-back…just how strong of a contender would they become and how quickly? How productive and dominant could the duo potentially become in their time together, and which one of SJ/CHI do you think would have the better supporting cast, including future outlook, to help build around them? Lots of interesting questions/possibilities. Could have been one of the best young 1-2 punches the league has ever seen.

What if the Montreal Canadiens had purchased the assets of the Indianapolis Racers?

Imagine that dynastic team but adding Eddie Mio in net.

I wanted the hawks to be worse last year to get those best odds and the guarantee they could still win lotteries because the lottery rules are too weak ... but, nah some wanted them to be a better.

Yes. It would have been Teows/Kane or Crosby/Malkin all over again. The team would be set and guaranteed to be good for 20 years.
