Eh people's opinions can and often are different than what NHL teams have, especially at the draft. The timing is weird as these types of polls usually happen shortly after the draft but it's not an outlandish question

I like Sennecke a lot. This poll isn’t fair to him. Demidov is wayyyyyyyy closer to Celebrini as the best player in the draft than anyone else is to challenging Demidov for the 2nd best.

Demidov isn't playing preseason games, he's playing regular season KHL games.

The Ducks scouts haven't earned much trust on drafting forwards imo.

I agree. I think Sennecke has the tools to be a great player, but I would've picked Demidov in that spot.

They've done pretty well picking in the top 10 the last few years:

Zegras
McTavish
Carlsson

Why lie? You clearly know that Demidov played multiple regular khl games given the fact that you keep posting in the demidov thread in the hockey prospect subforum. You are well aware that Demidov has 8 points in 10 games while playing very few minutes and zero pp time.

He will get to play with either of Carlsson, Zegras, McTavish and Gauthier if he clicks with one or two of those guys on a line he could produce serious numbers and be a great player honestly very close for me, as I do think demi has the safer higher end upside if that makes sense? I see him as a safe bet to be a ppg winger who drives play due to his skating/iq/vision/skill.

I tend to really like how the Ducks draft, they are probably one of the best draft boards over the league. Sennecke is a really good player and you love to see players that have a such a good development during DY. Im pretty sure that Sennecke will have great opportunities in Anaheim and could be a great fit in their system.

But to me it's obvious that Demidov will be one of the next star in the league as much as Michkov will be a super star.
