QB's are overprotected and if you're going to run with ball and go into slide at last moment you will take contact.

The Falcon defenders were already committed to hit and in motion when he began slide

The NFL is trash enough with the QB protection at this point no need to continue to make game bigger joke

I haven’t watched much of him this season, but judging by his stats this season his play this game seems pretty par for the course.
