Bears saw enough after 2 years to end that experiment only to waste two years with Matthews and Miller rotating as starters and signing an ancient Chris Chandler into mix as well

Of course, that then lead to mistake of organization having a QB who wanted to come to Chicago as FA (Jake Plummer) who they then rebuffed to sign Kordell Stewart instead
