I am usually all for tradition but I don’t enjoy baseball on the south side very much anymore having traveled to many other cities. I’d rather go to a cubs game. I used to hate the cubs.

I don’t think you can really overstate how bad of a rep Chicago had around the league and among quarterbacks especially, so not shocking that he was very ticked that the old regime was drafting him. Most of us were angrier at them than him.

But it seems like he’s been good with the organization ever since and hopefully Johnson turns things around. Not going to get mad at a guy for thinking about pulling an Eli when I was joking at the time that he might’ve been thinking about pulling an Eli.

And all things being said, it sounds like his dad was the more vocal one than him anyway, so eh.
