OT: Bears & NFL Talk 104 (2025 Draft edition)

Lots of smoke about the Jags picking Jeanty. Not buying it. Not entirely convinced by the Raiders rumors either, though that has more to do with other holes in their roster.

Shemar Stewart has 1.5 sacks per year, but a great RAS score where he conveniently didn't do any agility tests, which if poor would explain is exceptionally bad sack rate. I can't express just how out I am on him.

"As of today, Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox has recommended to the family to transfer Steve into a Joliet hospice facility this afternoon," Misty McMichael, Steve's wife, told FOX 32 Chicago. "He’s been unresponsive for last two weeks and in and out of the hospital. He’s currently in the ICU at Silver Cross."

Since there is no consensus "Best player available" at 10, I now want the Bears to draft Hampton (if they don't trade up for Jeanty) at 10. Spare me the "don't draft RB's in the top 10" nonsense, I'm looking for a player the Bears draft at 10 that can and will play early.

Would rather go with Warren in that case

These are my final mocks. Which one do you like the best?

I would not be upset with that but I suspect he won't make it pass the Jets.

With the rumor of at least 6 teams in the top 10 looking to trade down, it would not surprise me if the Bears do trade up (Jacksonville?) for Jeanty.
Fair for sure. Though if Warren and Jeanty are both gone before 10 someone like Membou, Campbell, Jalon Walker, or Mason Graham should be there, all of which would be nice adds. And there are so many poorly run QB-needy teams ahead of the Bears that someone might still overdraft Sanders and you could have your pick among a couple of those guys. If the price to move up is one of the second rounders I hope they stay put
