Got an alert on my phone about it too. It's funny, been reading a bunch of stuff on this since Detroit got knocked out, and Raiders fans were "absolutely positive" that he was going to them. I don't think they ever had a chance, honestly. It was such an unattractive option in comparison to the Bears job.

Nah? Pessimism with the Bears is the sane default, imho. Being pleasantly surprised is a nice plus.

Dan Campbell was the mastermind all along. The reason why Johnson always held the clipboard in front of his mouth is so the camera can't pick up that he always started the play call with "Dan says we should do..."
