Well all hear that ‘ok Thomas Brown isn’t a HC’. Doesn’t matter. What we saw in the last 2 minutes was the worst game management in Bears history. That includes Eberflus and Trestman

Kickers are making 57 yarders all over tbe league. If you have a kicker that you don’t believe in to attempt a 57 yarder to send a game into Oat and break a 9 game losing streak, then you need to cut him and replace him this off season. If he can’t make that kick, he needs to be replaced

The Amazon panel calling out the terrible game planning

Missed a few plays, but was a TE targeted at all?

How many time did Bears come to the line with seconds or less on play clock?

Did CW ever hit his backfoot on the drop back and fire a pass?

Did he complete anything over 10 air yards other than desperation plays?

Asking for a friend

Honestly I have no idea what the solution is. Everything is awful. Just awful.

No. Caleb a couple of desperation throws and a nice TD throw that was called back. He simply looks uncoached.

Thomas Brown as the interim HC is the worst head coaching/game planning/game management experiment I’ve ever seen in the NFL.

Thankfully only one game left of this. They need to clean house in the offseason. They're going up to Lambeau where the Packers will have little to play for other than to extend their winning streak against the Bears, extend the Bears' own losing streak, and try to have Williams break the sack record.

Hopefully it dawns on someone high up in Halas Hall that the franchise is now at a point where everyone in NFL circles discusses how the front office should grovel in the dirt for the chance to have a potential good HC deign it worthwhile to come to Chicago.

Poles pregame said there was starting the game issues from training camp that were evident.

That's his job to fix.
I’m still hung up on the Santos thing. If he can’t hit a 57 yarder, he shouldn’t be on an NFL roster
From a search, There's only been 11 55+ kicks all year. Idk why you act like that's bigger and standard at all. That's a non issue overblown. Santos made a 54 yarder this yearm. They could try, but was it still raining or not? Location matters.

11 is still a lot. Santos can’t hit from 47+

I’ve said it every game but there really is no way Poles can keep his job

I have to disagree - Brown's clock management is terrible but Eberflus' was even worse. Brown has more going against him than dreadful clock management though - he's supposed to be an offensive guy and yet he calls plays that aren't suited for his offensive personnel. The offensive line are not capable of pass blocking well enough to give Caleb and the receivers enough time to get open - mostly because they suck, but also because Caleb hesitates and holds the ball too long and the receivers can't get open often enough. It's an all-around mess and if they don't get the o-line fixed and get an actual NFL play-caller - it will be the same next season.

Please fire Ryan Poles. Please.

That's not enough. McCaskey needs to sell the team to someone who doesn't need the revenue to pay his bills. Then clean house - everybody needs to replaced with the highest paid quality at every position - including "greatest thing since sliced bread" Kevin Warren.

McCaskey's aren't selling so I try to hope for things that could actually happen.

Briggs calling out how terrible the play calling is and failure to do things like hard counts. He’s saying the scheme is making it super easy for the D

He’s also saying that Caleb can’t read a D pre-snap at all

Hes saying there are plays to run and ways to beat the 5-6 man pressure but the coaches have no idea what they are doing.

Hes also saying Caleb is doing then no favors

One of Saturn's moons
Major regression from last season, 10 straight losses, embarrassing ineptitude from an offense that was supposed to see light years of improvement.

What a disastrous mess Chicago sports has become, and there's very little light at the end of the tunnel, that's the worst part.

Thomas Brown has ushered himself out of the nfl with this. He won’t be on an nfl coaching staff next season
