That drop by Smith comes back to haunt them.

Yep, game should’ve been over with that catch. Takes them out of any shot at a bye, but beyond that probably no other impact in the long run.

Washington has a horseshoe up their ass this year.

These late games today are terrible. Afternoon slate wasn’t much better.

OL is one thing. There has been little to no investment, and unsurprisingly it's not getting the job done. But Swift has had over 40 yards rushing once in the last 5 weeks. That's a big investment on an RB that they need to bite the bullet and upgrade from.

They need to buy a whole new run game in the off season. New coach, new OL, new RB.

So hire a new HC with a lame duck GM for another year?

Seems obvious that Poles needs to be fired after this year.

Take the emotion out of it. Imagine ANY NFL team. Imagine a 3 season spread. Imagine that team with back to back #1 overall picks with 3 top 10 picks and multiple early round picks. Imagine that team having some of the most available cap money. Now imagine that team having a 14 game losing streak and then a 9 game losing streak wn route to an 11 game losing steak

A 14 game losing streak and an 11 game losing streak within a 50 game span.

No GM of any NFL team in today’s ’win now’ era would keep their job after that

Then you at some terrible draft decisions and signings like Edmunds, Davis, etc. And big contracts to two guys who mailed it in (DJ, Sweat). And of course the Claypool trade.

There is zero justification for him keeping his job

Clean house and start with a new slate

Add to that. Third OC and losing two coaches (including the DC - a critical position) to HR issues.
