Nurse's on ice sv% in this series is 0.829. He needs to play better, and he probably shouldn't be playing with Bouchard, but that's played a huge factor.

Iwanyk literally saying what everyone is thinking- Gazzola kept denying how bad Skinner is. Gazzola on the postgame actually said that Skinner’s .889 save % in 37 games played is much better than. Campbell’s reg season with the Oilers (36 GP .888 save %). They are exactly the same. Lollll

Frederic was not good last game. He had 1 shot on net, none in regulation, he got caved in all metrics. Like what did he do well? He wasn’t even overly physical. He contributed next to nothing. Stop parroting what the media tells you.

The only logical thing that makes sense is that they get paid from the OEG to say the dumbest stuff known to man. Or they are all just absolutely braindead.

These are results of game specific, unit specific matchups. I don't know that everything can be taken from such short sample stats.

Case in point. Kempe is tied for leading scorer in playoffs with McD and Drai. He's been the main feared player for the Kings. Probably their best player. But he's -5 in the series. Is he horrible or is he just getting some adverse matchup and game situation effects?

Stats like this were never meant to capture shorterm limited sample results. Thus any pretense that X player is horrible on such short sample is probably not substantiated.

These are overreactions. Nurse is not horrible, Booch is not horrible. etc.

Yeah, every stat is a result of matchups. How is that some enlightened viewpoint here? The stat is a fraction of what I'm basing my opinion on when it comes to Nurse, and not just these 4 games either. He has been trash damn near every playoffs of his career, by the numbers and the eye test.
