We just won and tied the series yet here you are in a pissy mood. Enjoy the win, the team and its success comes before individual players.

And to choose an individual player as mediocre as Skinner over the team is quite the choice...

On a totally unrelated note, I highly recommend the underrated Tony Scott film called The Fan, starring Robert De Niro and Wesley Snipes. It's about an unhinged fan who stalks his favorite player!

I don’t know what it is but the team just wins games with Pickard in. It’s never a jaw dropping performance but gets the W more often than not.

Gives you a good backup goalie effort and a never quit attitude. And really, that's probably all we need most nights. Why the boys almost always played hard for Mike Smith too.

The black hole of depression between the pipes we get when the other guy is off his game and moping can be a major drag on everyone.

Maybe Pickard not being elite catches up to us later, but can complain about crap management, that went all in on Skinner again, when the time comes

Say what you want about our offseason moves, our roster construction and how we didn't quite buckle down and get going in the regular season and all that, but fundamentally we're a deep deep team. Deeper than last year.

Kane seems to have added something in terms of confidence up front. I think its made Nuge a little braver too.

Kuemper is 88.1% in this series... guy is definitely beatable.

GET MORE PUCKS ON NET... and the Oilers will win. Not a hard formula to figure out. They did that in the 3rd and OT and scored 3 straight goals to win.

Greasy goals count just as much as fancy ones and as soon as this teams plays with the intensity to get everything at the net and GO TO the net... they will go in.

He was near the top of the league in the regular season with a .922. I still think he’s the best goalie the Kings have had in the four playoff series’ they’ve had with Edmonton and thought he was going to be a big factor for them. If Pickard was in to start this series, good chance the Oilers are up 3-1 but I’m happy with 2-2.

The best part is that some of our guys are getting BETTER as we get deeper into the playoffs. Kane looking good. Frederic actually looked playable. Klinberg solid again with only one give away... And, of course, Bouchard, who I was absolutely hating after the first two games. Shout out to Brown, Janmark, and Ardvi...

You have to play Pickard. McDavid clearly prefers him and the team plays way more confidently with him in net.

Just came home from the game live.
First playoff game was f***ing amazing. The atmosphere was electric and the win just made it sweeter.
