I believe he would burn it in that scenario. That would count for a GP because he played minutes.

Plenty of deals get signed for 2025-2026 but if they if they want him as the top 2 G for any game, it will burn a year.

Ideally, he signs for 2025-2026 and sign a try out with Laval.

That was Danis and Halak who were the goalies for Hamilton all year but it was 2007 not 2006. I believe that Halak was sent to the World's during the playoffs that year but I can't exactly remember.

Yeah, Halak went to the World's that year, and Price took over in Laval. Danis was always the backup.

I'm not sure we default to Fowler over Primeau. If Fowler plays AHL games this year, we'll see how he does. Primeau is usually a beast during the playoffs.

They should have an opportunity to give Fowler a game or two before the year ends in Laval. They are locked into the playoffs, so eventually there will be a meaningless game in there.

I heard on radio that Fowler is now 20 years old, so he'll burn one year contract regardless the number of games played. Only players at 18 or 19 could play less than 10 games without burning a contract year.
Fowler could sign a PTO with Rocket though, and that won`t burn a year.
