He read the play well, intercepted the puck, noticed that Sens were on the change, so he took the space, passed to Domi and went to the net and blocked Ullmark vision with 3 other Sens there. Great play!

Leafs blocked an insane amount of shots, which helped a lot I think. They probably need to find a way to have the puck more, not less. But it's nice that everyone is buying in.

With 2.5 minutes left in the third Matthews' was tripped which would have been a clear regular season penalty, which was right before the near puck over glass penalty.

Some additional context: the Leafs only had 1 PP in this game and it was in the first.

Crazy...

I dunno if you all could notice this on the TV but Knies looked really slow and completely out of it tonight. Made me wonder if he's hurt already.

He’s played really well in the playoffs. I heard his wife is Italian and he got a boost eating Nonna’s pasta on the weekend. Gotta like a guy who loves Italian pasta.
I’m sorry I’m not over the Euro’s ;) I love my biscuits and gravy and mass immigration. My brother in law is Italian and a Habs fan. Just ask how I’m still alive lol

If Pacioretty is healthy, I would put him in the lineup over Robertson for next game.

Would be interesting to see if Ottawa goes with checking line against Knies-Matthews-Marner line or they go their 1st line agaisnt our 1st line

with no last change won't be easy for us to dictate match ups in that scenario I would be hesitant to play mcmann-domi-robertson as a line

Knies looked fine I thought? He's fine.

Except for the part where they generally out-played us on the game I do like that the Sens aren't actually good enough to beat us in a series.

Berube doesn't change his lineup very often after winning, so I'll be surprised if he does. Pacioretty hasn't played in 2 months and half, so it would be a bit of a risk. Robertson had a tough one but I think he's earned another look to redeem himself.

Pacioretty was a hitting machine early in the season and had success with JT and Nylander, so maybe it could be worth the look. It's a tough call.
