Seeing France in the finals for gold in basketball is weird to me. Anyone can explain how they got good othrr than them being the host country? I'm legit curious. I lso don't really follow basketball/nba much so I don't know shit, which probably makes sense Seeing France in the finals weird.

People don’t want to hear this (it’s the truth), but kids in France have started turning to basketball and they are going to be the clear #2 in the sport over the coming years. They are starting to get like 2 or 3 first round picks per years. Canada probably has the second most talent right now and I think they’ll go beyond them soon enough.
