Barzal unhappy with Fan Support/Attendance at UBS Arena

A bad team failed to sell out a suburban arena on a freezing day in mid-January, and has some actually affordable tickets, and an overpaid schmuck said something schmucky.

Move the most recent true cup dynasty by an American club to Lloydminster.

Never stop being ridiculous, HF. Never happy.

I remember how good Barzal was that first year. Should have become a franchise 1C for the Isles, instead they made a series of decisions that relegated him to a stalling out as a Top 6 winger.

Yeah he got paid, but I'd have resentment too.

Feel like concessions is dumb. I may pay $6 for your damn water just because 3 hours is a long time without drinking, but damn if I'm hungry enough to eat a $12 hot dog.

I recently found in Detroit that they take the cap off your water and don't let you keep it.

1. Doesn't seem like the best idea to keep germs from spreading.

2. Seems like a great way to make more money on $6 waters when you inevitably spill it in their cramped ass seats.

Bring your own bottle cap. Problem solved.

They're one of, if not the most boring team in the league and have been for years. Barzal is one of the few players on that team worth watching. It mostly lies with management not icing a team than fans care to watch, I have no problem with Barzal's comments.
Thank you Barry trotz

That 1st year the team finished 7th out of 8 in the division with a minus 32 goal differential. Barzal is an excellent talent yet not the player he should be. He's a good 2C and actually not bad on the wing.

He's an enigma. I honestly think he'd excel in the Western Conference where the skating and style of play meshes better with his skill set

He seems to care enough but yet he doesn't make his line mates better, holds on to the puck too long and is mediocre at best on faceoffs

Am I the only one who watched that and don't see it saying that at all?

I’m a bit skeptical that everyone would say Barzal was saying this if they were shown the clip without seeing the alleged quotes first.

But maybe most people are way more effective at lip reading than I am and I’m just missing it.

He must hold the record for the most consecutive laps carrying the puck around the O-zone. No one can get it from him, but he doesn’t do anything with it.

I read a post game comment from a Black Hawks player a few years back, I want to say Towes but honestly don't remember 100 percent who is was. When they asked him about Barzal and his puck possession, he said something to the effect of "I'm not sure what he was doing out there. He must be trying to get his Corsi rating up"
