Doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen lolIf the game goes to overtime both teams will clinch a playoff spot
Both teams have depleted lineups tonight.Fronts board saying the exact same thing about their lineup.
Hoping for either team with a regulation win!
Not to mention coach Williamson was sick/ absent as well. Both teams have depleted lineups tonight.
Although I’d say Barrie’s is more significant in skill missing tonight
He’s a late birthday 06 second round pick of the sens (fairly close compared to other teams)Gotta think if Barrie decides to go for it next year upgrading the import D man is a must it’s actually unbelievable how often he’s in the box
If Barrie drafts someone better than him next year and they’ll report then he may be outta luck I think Barrie will want hemming back next year as he’s a 06 too so will see. It’s unfortunately not just the pentalies but now other parts of his game have struggled a lot recentlyHe’s a late birthday 06 second round pick of the sens (fairly close compared to other teams)
I’d be shocked if he isn’t back next year. Probably just ask him to work on his penalties but how many of them are just because he’s tall? I know we’ve had a couple big d men and anytime they make a hit they get thrown in the box.
that sounds like he’s still pretty raw and has lots to work on. Won’t be AHL ready then despite the size. Either goes home(sens probably won’t want that) or stays in barrie IMO.If Barrie drafts someone better than him next year and they’ll report then he may be outta luck I think Barrie will want hemming back next year as he’s a 06 too so will see. Yeah that’s exactly what I think happens I think there offseason will depend on if Romani comes back and if they can get William Moore to report. If they can get 1 of those things to happen I could see them going for it again and if neither happens they probs do a big sell off. I do think Gardiner is back as a OA and they do bring back both imports if they can get them back. Barrie has had a pretty good history lately bringing guys in as imports so I think they’ll probs draft someone decent even with a later pick they were able to draft Eduard sale a few years ago with a fairly late import selection so who knows what connections they have. I do agree Hillebrandt probably gets moved in the offseason as Hrebik is the better goalie for my money but will see how the rest the season goes alot can change.that sounds like he’s still pretty raw and has lots to work on. Hemming was a first round pick but hasn’t been impressive at all this year. He is probably best in the OHL next year too but who knows how Dallas will go about it. He and Eliasson can both theoretically play in the AHL but I wonder if either does.
With you guys having such a high pick in the import draft after being probably top 4 in the league here you will be selecting likely around 45-50/60 players in the first round.
I highly doubt you get someone better than the 2 imports you have this year especially after the inevitable jump they take next year with added responsibilities after guys such as: Jelsma, Wakely, Van Steensel (potentially Romani too but I think he comes back such as Koehn Ziemmer in the WHL) potentially Gardiner too leave for forwards, and Akey, Bertucci gone for sure on d. If what I think happens, happens- Romani, Gardiner, Hillebrandt could be OA’s but with Hrebik potentially wanting more games I wonder if Hillebrandt gets traded in off season and they bring in another d to have a top 4 of aitcheson/eliasson/Passmore/OA D
