I have to imagine Romanov is gone, he doesn't really have a future here, just depth.

Carlsson didn't play in the final game of the regular season for the Barracuda, for unexplained reasons. Presumably Jack Thompson will replace Joey Keane, then.

Given that the entire series is in southern California, that means we don't have Poturalski for all of round one. Big loss.



I'm also curious what the situation with Ontario's goalkeeping is going to be, today they had Carter George and Pheonix Copley switch places, Copley is now the one who's down with the Reign ahead of the game tomorrow. We faced him several times this season and have done fairly well against him, all things considered.

We faced Carter George once, in his AHL debut a couple weeks ago, and he shut us out and looked great doing so.

Based on his few games so far, yes, I'm fine with sitting Musty. Surprised I don't see Cherynshov there, either, though.

Ostapchuk playing on Giles's wing is an interesting one. Real curious how that third line works, if that's what we're going with.

Actually, Furlong coming out on defense instead of Keane is also something I'm OK with, because I've been pretty vocally down on Furlong over the last couple months of the season. I'm not huge on Joey Keane, but I don't mind the move.

See the post above that one, Carlsson is out Game 1 for personal reasons, expected to rejoin us later in the series.
