Alright, now I have to throw cold water on that result: Doesn't help that we just went to OT. We wind up 3 points behind Coachella at the end of the day, which is still going to be a tall order. Especially considering Coachella's next two games are at home against Bakersfield and then San Diego.

Elsewhere, Bakersfield beats HSK 4-2, so no playoff clinching tonight, either. But the magic number is down to 1. Henderson is the first team eliminated from Pacific playoff contention.

The USHL, based in the Midwest is just as weird. Guess how many teams in Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska.
