Barracuda News & Discussion VII

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Bordeleau centering Vincent and Houle is certainly a choice.

Not really going to be watching this one, because it's 10:30 in the morning...

Bakersfield also surprised me by picking up a win last night at Colorado. Eagles have the best home record in the entire AHL. So, yeah, a win today would be nice.

Colin White adds an empty netter and the Cuda win 4-0.

Can't argue with that. Shame I didn't get to see that one, would've loved to see the Gulls get a good beatdown.

Another shutout for Carriere, but only 18 saves in this one.

Definitely one of the loudest games I have been to and it absolutely felt like the Cuda figured out the Gulls for this one. They really limited their chances and seemed to have control of play most of the game.

Nollenberger does a quick explanation on how poor the Condors power play has been at home this season, so naturally they score on us a minute later. 2-0.

One minute later, 3-0 Condors. 13:00 to go in the first period.

3-2 Condors after the first. Obviously pretty concerning start, but they've gotten back on track. Bakersfield has been good at keeping the puck in the offensive zone and then looked vulnerable in their own zone, IMO.

Defense needed to tighten up, Aaron Dell isn't going to steal you too many games these days.
