"Before the break" is an odd sentiment, the Cuda play next in six days on Friday, which isn't really any different from most of their schedule.

Still, couple spots just opened up on the Sharks, wouldn't surprise me to see some guys try to get noticed by the higher-ups tonight.

Seriously, what an awful time for a clunker of a game like that. First game on cable TV, some guys probably hoping to earn a callup with spots available in the NHL, coming off a good performance. Instead we got 60 minutes of bad zone entries, poor passing, and no sustained pressure. Henderson got 47 shots on goal and I think that was mostly because we just kept handing it back to them. Didn't even HSK played that well for most of the game. Romanov was at least good. I really thought he was going to pull it out for a bit there.

Basically, nothing good to say about any of our skaters. We all looked equally awful. Moving on. In fact, our next game is also on NBC Sports CA, against Tucson. But, that one might be an interesting watch for different reasons, as our games against the Roadrunners are historically penalty-fests. Last time we faced them Scott Sabourin got suspended three games for mugging Montana Onyebuchi.
