Sasha, originally from Tampere, had a sweet baby boy with a very attractive American beauty last December. At the time, however, it remained unclear how planned the happy baby really was and, on the other hand, what kind of relationship prevails between the Finnish millionaire and the child's mother.

In the spring, the new mother showed off her happiness with her public social media, where she had published footage of her baby boy wearing Barkov's NHL jersey. Sasha's mother, Olga Barkov, also appeared on the woman's social network with the filly's baby boy.

Sasha has not mentioned a word about his paternity in public. Now it would seem that the reason is also clear. The Finnish ice hockey player has gone to court for his young son, the opposing party is the boy's American mother.

According to Seiska's report, Sasha filed a paternity suit against the beauty in Florida in September. The future of the secret baby and the parents' practical arrangements are currently being discussed.

It's about child support and expenses related to the child, as well as a "parenting plan", which includes, among other things, sharing the parents' schedule with the child. Joint custody of the child is also being processed.

I was lazy and used google translate ;)

You always need to be careful about parasocial relationships. I think Barkov is the last person you'd expect to knockup some insta model but it happened. That said, this isn't a big deal or notable at all (maybe a bit moreso because it's hockey). Having an unplanned baby and then fighting about child support/visitation is extremely common for athletes (I'd say it's a requirement for NBA players) but it's even common among everyday people (I know 2 people who this has happened to), there are probably posters on this board who have gone through this. This isn't interesting and shouldn't used for his crappy year.

Except our captain is a very fragile man outside the rink

This might be the best trade deadline pick-up in team history, I for one am looking forward to his arrival we all know what babies can do ...

Hope this settles down the best way for Barky cos its definately distracting his focus on the game. Family first then hockey but its an unnecessary drama for all sides. Seiska is the most f***ing worst tabloid for these kind of things in Finland. Just wished they've kept it private. Pretty sure hes gona be more grittier, experienced and better after this all is said and done :)

Things like this can be mentally exhausting and even when you're thinking you're ok, you probably don't even realize how much it takes away. Not an excuse, but its not a good thing to have going on.
