Barbashev - Eichel - Stone is the best line in hockey right now

Two elite 200ft players in Stone and Eichel with Barbashev who also has a solid 2 way game. This line has been flat out dominate this year. Despite losing 6 roster players from last year, Vegas has not missed a beat. They lose their 40 goal scorer and Stone gets moved up to the top line. Eichel and Stone together reminds me of when Toews and Hossa were on the same line. It was near impossible to score on them 5 on 5.

Stone is off to the best start in his career with 20pts in his first 12 games. Eichel isn't far behind with 16pts in 12 games. If these two can stay healthy, they are both on pace to put up career highs. Even Barbashev is running at a PPG pace right now and he's never looked better in his career.

It’s a good line but right now too much of Vegas’ success is reliant on them. They won’t get far in the playoffs being a one line team and they’re gonna end up mortgaging even more of their future for another shot.

1 line team my ass. Hertl is producing at PPG level and is a solid 2C, Dorofeyev is a breakout candidate with already 7 goals so far this season. Karlsson/Roy is an elite 3C/4C duo. Lots of other guys too like Howden, Pearson, Holtz, Olofsson, Kolesar, etc. They’re still very deep.

Vegas depth is overlooked by many, still a very deep team despite losing 6 roster players from last year. I still think they trade for a star winger at the deadline. They lack one after Stone.
