The arena in ********* is a glorified circus during playoff time and a breeding ground for explosive diarrhea with the sh** food and beer they serve. I've never been there but Reddit told me. ******** ******* is a joke of a GM even though he ripped off my team and ran away with a bunch of assets that would have helped us instead

Back when he played for Buffalo, I ran into Jack Eichel at Wegmans. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Not just the Leafs, all Canadian teams. Whichever one left is the star of the show, and all the other teams are just side characters.

From what I can tell, Sportsnet are convinced that the Oilers actually won. Although to be fair, I think ESPN still believe that the Rangers got to the Cup final.

Alongside teams wearing blue jerseys, I have a seething hatred of "big market" teams for that exact reason. The Leafs/Bruins/Rangers/Oilers are winning: let's talk about how great the Leafs/Bruins/Rangers/Oilers are. The Leafs/Bruins/Rangers/Oilers are losing: let's talk about what the Leafs/Bruins/Rangers/Oilers need to do to turn it around. I'm convinced these channels couldn't name a single player on our team aside from Tkachuk. And that only because they saw that amazon series.

I'm taking this thread as an opportunity to say who I, a Rangers fan, do NOT want to see winning the Cup this year.

In the East:
- New Jersey - Self-explanatory. Absolutely cannot have them have the same number of Cups as the Rangers. The Islanders already do, and we never hear the end of it
- Tampa Bay - They have won enough recently
- Florida - Don't want them to be there for the third straight year, don't want them to repeat
- Washington - Just, no. Ovechkin got his record, time for them to collapse in the first round

In the West:
- Colorado - They have won or been there enough recently

I'm pretty good with most of the teams in the West. In general, I'm rooting for Canada or a team that's never won it all to get their first Cup.
