Well if we're being honest I once went to a St. Louis Bar & Grill and got food poisoning from their wings.

So since that day I've hated the Buffalo Sabres because they're a city known for their wings.

You're going to get a lot of different answers from this fanbase but I'll give you my opinion as a Leafs fan:

Neither would be all that different tbh, and while both would be utterly humiliating (perhaps a Montreal one slightly more so because the Sens are a better team IMO and they already play us balls-out every time?) there is a silver lining to both: the colossal embarrassment and loss of revenue of either of these situations would finally lead to significant change. If losing in the 1st round to Ottawa or Montreal for example (I realize we are more likely to play Ottawa) results in them keeping the status quo, then it won't be my problem because I absolutely will not watch the team anymore until they get rid of the core.

Some of us, like myself, have long wanted to move on from pretty much this entire group; they are style over substance (except Knies, who is a baller.) Since we don't have our 1sts for years, we pretty much have to retool until we get our 1sts back and then they really do need to burn it all down and start over.

You have to understand how incredibly thick the calluses are on our hearts. No level of playoff failure with this team would make me bat an eye. We've already seen pretty much everything, man.

The Habs. Simply because we will never live down the shame of the last one. To double up so soon after would be the cruelest thing the Hockey Gods could do outside of resurrecting Harrold Ballard so he can buy back the team.

And I'm tempted to say a lost to either would be the last straw for much of the Leafs faithful but that series loss to the Habs should have been the last straw. Or the Jackets. Or the Bruins again last year. Leafs Nation is nothing if not a glutton for punishment.

If it's any consolation, as a fellow Montreal, you know those aren't real bagels. They're 'bagels', with the bunny-ear apostrophes, the puffy, tasteless things they serve across the US that vaguely resemble the real thing like a Big Mac resembles a sirloin steak. They can slice those cheap knock-offs any way they want.

Leafs because there’s two main sports channels in Canada and they both act as if that is the only team that exists in the league.

It’s hilarious how little those analysts know about some of these American teams once the leafs get eliminated.

Not just the Leafs, all Canadian teams. Whichever one left is the star of the show, and all the other teams are just side characters.

Did you know the Oilers were in the finals last year? Who did they play? Sportsnet couldn't tell ya

This is how I feel but with the entire core 4. I want them to continue to embarrass themselves in hopes that one day management wakes up and ends this garbage once and for all.
