Some thoughts:

Jones with a goal and 4 points in his last 7 games.
In 18 games, he's only taken 2 penalties, for a guy averaging 25.5 minutes a game, that's pretty impressive in itself.

The team is definitely fine tuning everything defensively.
Last 8 games only allowing just over 20 shots against per game, despite the 5 game losing streak.

Mackie is gonna be a top 6 player. Really impressed with everything he's shown so far: the speed, the 15 goals divided by TOI, the physical play, his playmaking ability and overall hockey IQ.
I'll keep saying it, he makes Rodrigues expendable in offseason.

I'm very curious what Zito and his agent cook up, hoping if it's a bridge, it's only 1 year, lock him up on a similar term to Lundell once Bob's current deal is done and hopefully anything under 4.5 mil would be a bargain by year 2 of that deal.
