He sounds like Antonio Brown without the talent or pedigree before losing his head. It sounds like he thinks he is better than Zay Flowers on the Ravens and Nico Collins on the Texans.

"First, the Ravens acquiring Johnson keeps him away from other teams that may have considered or put in a waiver claim for. Though it’s unlikely other teams would want him on their roster for the final playoff push, he could have managed to land with the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs or an NFC team that the Ravens could face in a potential Super Bowl matchup. Now, Johnson will be unable to play in the playoffs.

The second bit is the potential for a compensatory pick. Johnson will land with the Ravens as an unrestricted free agent. If he — by some wild chance — signs a deal of any true value, he would help the Ravens’ compensatory formula and net them an extra pick. It’s unlikely any of this will occur, but the potential for it, not risking an opponent to acquire a guy who is objectively talented, and not losing a roster spot claiming him until post-Super Bowl delivers this as a procedural tactic."

From baltimore beat down SB Nation sight and somes up my opinion on it and putting him in a bad spot is makes it even better

Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't sign until it's too late to be considered in the comp pick formula.

I can't imagine teams are gonna be rushing to sign this guy after burning bridges with 4 teams and not for much more than 1 year, league minimum.

Baltimore doesn't really care that much about the comp pick, it's just a small chance at something tangible and keeping him out of opponents' hands.

This guy, within a relatively short period of time, has become unbelievably toxic. I wouldn't go anywhere near him, he is the locker room equivalent of farting in an elevator.

the comp pick isn't guaranteed, (and i'd be surprised if they get one anyways) but doesn't hurt to try

plus, it's not like they're running the risk of him being an issue in the locker room since he'll be home. and even at home, i'm sure he'll still be complaining about his role
