Minnesota was a better team and we hoofed them so i like our chances tomorrow morning, oops early afternoon.
Well, as long as it's a hard fought game, and decided by one goal by either team, I'd be happy with that. Of course I'd like the one goal ( or more) winner to be the Jets. Just don't want to see the Jets get blown out.

I think it's a 50 - 50 type of game, could go either way. GJG

Anyone watch the K & R podcast last night?
For you analytics greeks its a must watch ... John Garrett kills it. The analytics "expected goals" & "expected saves" are a joke ... seriously I could not stop laughing he was 100% correct and all the people commenting agreed with him.
kenny and renny post game
Indeed, the analytical gravitas and hockey acumen of John Garrett might even exceed that of Kevin Sawyer...

Garrett's always been a bit of a comedian - he's just doing a bit. Incredulously asking "Expected goals? Expected by who? Their mother?" is just for laughs.

But if it's true that Youtube commentors are also agreeing, then maybe he's onto something! :sarcasm:

Reading all these memories about hockey and families and Jets history and childhood dreams and upbringing .... have really made my morning. Thank you all for your wonderful sharing. Such a lovely read compared to most GDTs and PGTs.

These posts reminded me of a game (?) we used to play in uni which involved each girl listing the qualities she'd most want in a husband. The best answer was determined by popular vote. I remember one time the winning quality was: Often reads books to his children.

I'm in such a good mood right now, I'm not even angry (well, maybe just a little) to discover that our game against the Leafs tomorrow morning is not available on the edge of the ocean. I'd grumble longer but I've just finished a long, large lunch and I'm in desperate need of an award-winning nap.
Funny that as my wife and I were just talking about parenting. I always made time to read to my son before bed, even if it was the long version of Polar Express (it really is long) Great memories and so glad I made that effort.
Proud as a dad could be as he just graduated with honours in Molecular Biology.

Kids had a couple games for a hockey tourney today. Got to watch a bit of the Jets practice and the kids got to fist-bump all the Jets players coming off the ice after practice.

Seeing KFC and Chef one-time pucks practicing the PP was great, those guys have unreal shots. Vilardi is a large human, looks way bigger up close haha.

Morrissey is a class act and signed a ton of stuff foe all the kids. It was a great time.
