Yes, the Central is very strong this year, with the Jets and Colorado being the top teams.

Demelo and miller do so many things right - dont see it on tv... im a huge miller fanboi now
Scheif had some really nice moments but he cant keep making his signature move at the line
Perfetti and ehlers deserve better - they set up their linemates so many times
Forecheck and puck support
Schenn is big and is what we need for a 6th D... replacing stan on the pk has made a huge difference

I really like the idea of putting a 4th liner on a line with two stars. I wish they did it more without injuries forcing it. Iafallo is a pick up truck playing with two sports cars.

I noticed in a few games lately teams are shooting the puck at the boards instead of the net and the puck comes right back for great scoring chances.
Scheifele being a hockey tv geek noticed it too and probably him and Connor had that play planned and it worked out for an easy goal for Scheifele.

These kind of quotes from the opposition are a testament to what a f***ing amazing year this has been.
It's great how seamlessly the addition of both Schenn and Tanev has been with this team. Two lunch bucket guys and by the looks of it just what the Jets needed.

Nice to see the crowd give Dillon a well deserved standing ovation. The guy was a great Jet.
Also nice to see Nino’s buds get some recognition in the building again!

I very much liked Dillon as well. He was a warrior for the Jets. I didn’t like seeing him go. Very tough guy.
Man, I would love the Blues to hop the Wild, so we get the Wild in Round 1 and the F*ck Knights get stuck with the blazing Blues.

Devils are probably the team most comfortably in a playoff position that is locked in so that early start was important. I think Arniel has this team understanding how important the good starts are. Game kind of rolled on from there. Very few whistles in the 2nd and 3rd.
Devils next 2 are against the Wild so that should have some playoff implications.
Iafallo coming in for Vilardi has shaken up the lines in a good way.
Also liking the way Ehlers is playing on Lowry's line.
And the 4th line is working, as long as Tanev and Barron are on it.
Keep winning. One bad game from Dallas makes the road to #1 in the West safer.
Friday night victories come with the best crowds.

I may be a little bitter but the team in the smallest market, shity weather, no players want to get traded too , no wifi, no zoo being the absolute best team in the entire league makes me very happy. Hey NHL.....

Arniel seems to have a really good handle on this team. He makes moves that many question, but they turn out well. I wonder how much input he had on picking up Tanev and Schenn as those 2 were like bottom of the roster missing ingredients?

Agreed. They should have kept him. Every team needs a defenceman or 2 like that. Feels like they went out and got a similar player (Schenn) once they realized this was missing.

Chevy's "small moves" in bringing in Schenn and Tanev.....have brought in some needed sandpaper and attitude. This team now looks pretty tight, heading into the playoffs....
