Good grinding win. You need those every now and then. We didn't give Utah all that much and Helle was there when he needed to be.

It's a funny game as I thought the third line had one of its more pedestrian games but finished on their one real good chance.

I thought the second line played well but didnt have any puck luck tonight. They were due a game like this with how much has been going in for them though. Ditto for the first line.

Special teams were excellent.

While Stanley is making strides in a lot of areas I still have a hard time understanding how he losses so many board battles given his size. Maybe he's too lanky and can't get leverage when people crowd him. It's just interesting.

How are we so good?!

We were a fine team already, and now we're getting the benefit of a new coach boost, with players already knowing their roles.

Usually a new coach boost comes to a bad team, which is bringing in new players.

This Jets team is kind of perfectly constructed when it comes to forwards and goaltender, and it's not like the defense is bad, just not outstanding outside of JoMo.
